Kelly Osbourne said she is “currently going through the hardest time” in her life after photos of her at the Brit Awards went viral, and she was body-shamed on social media.

“There is a special kind of cruelty in harming someone who is clearly going through something,” Osbourne wrote Sunday on her Instagram stories. “Kicking me while I’m down, doubting my pain, spreading my struggles as gossip, and turning your back when I need support and love most. None of it proves strength; it only reveals a profound absence of compassion and character.”

The 41-year-old TV personality and her mother, Sharon Osbourne, accepted the Brit’s Lifetime Achievement Award for the late Ozzy Osbourne during Saturday’s award ceremony.

After their appearance, Kelly Osbourne, who was wearing a black skin-tight dress, was body-shamed for how thin she appeared.

“She looks older than her own mother,” one of the posts read. Another told her to get “off of ozempic,” and one comment simply read, “get her a cheeseburger.”
