Oct. 21 (UPI) -- Apple's Liquid Glass feature on iOS 26.1, iPadOS 26.1 and macOS 26.1 will see a new customization for those who aren't fond of the clear view Liquid Glass offers.
Now users have the option to change Liquid Glass to Clear or Tinted, making items it easier for some to see. The Liquid Glass feature rolled out in June, and since then users have been divided on it. Some say it's hard to read, while others like the more modern look it adds.
The new options went live Monday in the iOS26.1 beta 4 release.

Beta users can change the settings by going to Settings, then Display & Brightness, then find the Liquid Glass menu option. Then choose Clear or Tinted. Tinted makes the clear boxes more opaque.
