Oct. 20 (UPI) -- Backstreet Boys member AJ McLean says the band's Into the Millennium Las Vegas residency at the Sphere has been "mind-boggling."

The music artist opened up about the performances when he stopped by The Jennifer Hudson Show Monday.

"It's kind of mind-boggling. It's the most state of the art venue in the entire world. You know, when they asked us to put together a show, it was the most surreal experience because there is a huge process that goes into putting this particular show up," he said.

He explained that the group was even lifted 75 feet in the air during the concert and incorporated a sample of the Jackson 5 song "Can You Feel It" into their opening song "Larger than Life."

The song was featured on the band's 1999 album Millennium.
