When it comes to trolling President Donald Trump, California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s office is not pussyfooting around.
On Tuesday, Time magazine published its latest cover, which celebrates Trump’s involvement with the recent Israel-Gaza peace deal.
And although the article is flattering toward the president, its choice of cover photo is … well, let’s just say it’s almost like the editorial staff at the magazine hasn’t forgotten about Trump’s immigration crackdowns, abuses of power, the DOGE fiasco or even his past association with a convicted sex offender.
Because they chose this photo for the cover:
And as social media users stared into the president’s wattle, like it was some kind of Rorschach test, many saw the same thing. And Newsom’s team made it a bit more explicit:
