Ahigh-pressure front is set to give almost all of Italy an 'Ottobrata' Indian summer in the next few days, with maximum temperatures rising to 26-27°C in the warmest cities - Florence, Naples Oristano, Prato, Rome, Siracusa, Sondrio and Terni - iLMeteo.it meteorologist Lorenzo Tedici said on Friday.
The maximums will be around 23-25°C for much of the rest of the country, with temperatures 5-6° higher than the average for the time of year.
Parts of Sicily and Sardinia, however, may get downpours, Tedici said.
