Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer in Mumbai on Thursday (October 9, 2025) during his two-day visit to Maharashtra, and also inaugurate a couple of projects, including the Navi Mumbai Airport and Mumbai Metro-3, on Wednesday (October 8, 2025).Mr. Modi will host the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer, in Mumbai and attend the CEO Forum at Jio World Centre, Mumbai. Thereafter, both leaders will attend the sixth edition of the Global Fintech Fest.“During the visit, the two Prime Ministers will take stock of progress in diverse aspects of the India-U.K. Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in line with ‘Vision 2035’, a focussed and time bound 10-year Roadmap of programmes and initiatives in key pillars of trade and investment, technology and innovation, defence and security, climate and energy, health, education and people to people relations,” as per the Statement by Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).The leaders are likely to engage with businesses and industry leaders on opportunities presented by the India–U.K. Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) as a central pillar of the future India–U.K. economic partnership.
