A mother and father who were celebrating their four-year-old daughter's birthday by drinking in a hot Spanish motel bath have died.
Military police officer Jeferson Luiz Sagaz, 37, and his partner Ana Carolina Silva, 41, who owned a nail salon, were found dead in Sao Jose, in the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina, on the night of August 11.
The couple had spent the day celebrating their daughter's birthday at a food park, drinking alcohol, before later going to a nightclub and checking into the Dallas Motel.
They were last seen around 11:30pm, according to local reports.
The next day, when they failed to pick up their daughter who had been staying with Jeferson's sister, relatives raised the alarm and reported them missing.
