Dramatic images show the moment a young man was rescued after spending three days adrift at sea on a jet ski in Spain's Canary Islands.
23-year-old Layonel Ramirez Collado had been missing since Monday night off the coast of San Bartolomé de Tirajana after a night out with friends went disastrously wrong.
Mr Collado had been on a nighttime boat trip with his friends when his jet ski came loose of the boat.
Jumping in to retrieve it, he then attempted to drive back to the Castillo del Romeral dock on his own - when the jet ski broke down.
Mr Collado's friends alerted emergency services at around 11pm after he failed to reach their agreed meeting point.
