A total 1,024 beneficiaries of the double-bedroom housing scheme from the city got their title deeds on Friday from Minister Ponnam Prabhakar.Though the allotment was done a long time ago, possession could not be given to the beneficiaries due to a pending court case. After recent court intervention, the hurdles were cleared for the possession, a note from GHMC informed.The 2BHK units at Mankhal village of Maheshwaram were allotted to beneficiaries from Charminar, Malakpet, Yakutpura and Chandrayangutta constituencies. The Minister distributed the title documents to 75 beneficiaries, while the rest of them will be given the same at the local Tehsildar’s office, the statement added.
