Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said Thursday that he is confident Hamas will accept US President Donald Trump's peace plan for Gaza with some conditions.
"The contacts I made right from the start with all the key players in the region and beyond, testify patient peace-building work (is being done)," Tajani told the Senate.
"I spoke yesterday with the Turkish Foreign Minister, and I am convinced, from what the Turkish Foreign Minister told me, that Hamas will accept the plan but will request some corrective clarifications".
