LOS ANGELES, Sept. 30 (UPI) -- Cassandra Peterson, who has played Elvira since 1981, released Elvira's Cookbook from Hell on Tuesday. The book contains recipes for breakfast, picnics, appetizers, treats, cocktails and more, all with a horror theme.
In a recent Zoom interview with UPI, Peterson, 74, said it was important that Elvira's cookbook featured real recipes with a variety of complexities.
"The recipes are legit," Peterson said. "They're actually real recipes for people to make with all skill levels from very, very easy to pretty darn difficult."
