The Hennur-Bagalur main road white-topping project is slated for completion by the end of October, East Corporation Commissioner D.S. Ramesh, said after reviewing ongoing road works on Monday. He directed that all pending construction including carriageways, footpaths, utility ducts and electrical poles must be completed on time and opened for traffic without delay. The white-topping work covers a distance of a 5 km stretch from Geddalahalli Railway Line to Farhan College.Mr. Ramesh also directed that all potholes must be filled within two days, and the Executive Engineer is required to submit a compliance certificate confirming remedial measures. The commissioner also instructed that completed roads must not be dug up without prior approval and payment of restoration charges.
