Hyderabad will welcome India’s first-ever Chhota Bheem-themed cafe this December, with two outlets set to open in Hitech City. The venture, a partnership between Green Gold Animation and EBG Group, aims to blend dining, entertainment and retail into a complete family experience.Hyderabad, where Green Gold Animation is headquartered, has been chosen as the starting point owing to its urban customer base and cultural connection with the iconic character. The project will gradually expand across the country, with 50 more outlets targeted for 2026, before moving to international markets, said a release. The cafes will be launched in two formats — a compact express model (25 x 40 ft) and a larger full-scale format (50 x 40 ft). Initially operating under a company-owned, company-operated (COCO) model, the outlets will involve franchise partners investing while EBG manages operations, branding and training. As the network grows, the plan is to scale up to 300 outlets nationwide. Published - September 29, 2025 07:32 pm IST
