NEW YORK: Gulf Cooperation Council Secretary-General Jasem Albudaiwi met UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres at the 80th session of the UN General Assembly in New York on Saturday. Guterres praised the role and efforts of GCC countries in mediation and their constant endeavor to promote security and stability globally, and said the world needed the council’s contributions at all levels, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
