In June, India imported Iranian crude for the first time since May 2019, according to official import data from India's Directorate General of Commercial Intelligence and Statistics. The official data indicates imports of 207,601 tons (50,400 barrels per day) of Iranian crude by leading private sector refiner Reliance Industries via the Special Economic Zone at Jamnagar, where Reliance operates a giant 1.4 million b/d refining complex.
