The golden chariot procession of the Arulmigu Manakula Vinayagar Devasthanam will be taken out on October 1 (Wednesday) on the occasion of Vijayadashami as part of the Navaratri festival.
A press note from V. Palaniappan, Temple Administrative Officer, said the procession route would be through the four main Mada streets (JN Street, West Boulevard/Anna Salai, Ambalathadayar Madom Street and Manakula Vinayagar Koil Street).
The chariot will be taken out between 6.30 p.m. and 11 p.m. with police bandobust on the designated day, the note added.
