Two scientists from Vijayapura have joined the list of top 2% scientists in the world.
Registrar of BLDE Deemed to be University Raghavendra Kulkarni and Distinguished Chair Professor of the Department of Anatomy and Physiology Kusal Das have been named in the list of the world’s top 2% scientists for 2025.
Dr. Kulkarni has been awarded this position in consideration of the research undertaken by him in the field of pharmaceutical science and polymers and Dr. Das in the field of anatomy.
The list is released by the Stanford University and Elsevier in the Netherlands each year. They identify more than one lakh scientists based on the Citation Index and rank them in the top 2% of scientists in the world.
Dr. Kulkarni has been included in this list for the fifth time in a row. He is ranked 27th among Indian researchers and 158th in the world in the field of polymer-based pharmaceutical science.
