A 62-year-old man was arrested on Monday on the charge of sexually assaulting a minor girl with mental disability.

The Musiri All Women Police registered a case under various provisions of the POCSO Act and The Rights of Persons With Disabilities Act against the accused, Mathiazhagan, on September 22 and arrested him. He was produced before the Mahila Court at Tiruchi and lodged in prison, a police press release said.
