CNN conservative foil Scott Jennings alerted FBI Director Kash Patel to a perceived threat from fellow media figure Keith Olbermann on Monday.
“You’re next, motherfucker,” Olbermann told Jennings in a now-deleted X thread screenshot by conservative columnist Dustin Grage. “But keep mugging to the camera.”
Olbermann, a former MSNBC and ESPN personality who hosts the “Countdown” podcast, appeared to elaborate on his terse comments in other social media posts. They were part of a thread of responses to Jennings’ mockery of the reinstatement of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
The late night show was suspended last week after Kimmel’s comments about Charlie Kirk’s alleged killer angered conservatives and spurred threats from the Federal Communications Commission.
“We won, you stupid pieces of shit,” Olbermann wrote on X, formerly Twitter. “Last fold to fascism was last week.”
