Virtually every British Jewish community representative organization claims to support a two-state solution between Israelis and Palestinians. There is also cross-party consensus in the British parliament that this is the most viable solution. Yesterday, the British government finally took a step towards making this policy a reality by recognizing a Palestinian state, with clear conditions that ensure Israel's security, including the disarmament of Hamas and working to free the hostages the group still holds in Gaza.
