Zarah Sultana is attempting to heal the huge rift that opened up between her and Jeremy Corbyn amid their chaotic efforts to set up a new Left-wing party.

The Coventry South MP, who quit Labour in order to help forge a new movement with Mr Corbyn, has said she will call off legal action she announced last week.

She added she was now 'determined to reconcile' and was in talks with Mr Corbyn, the ex-Labour leader for whom she has 'nothing but respect'.

The bitter feud at the top of Ms Sultana and Mr Corbyn's outfit, known for now as Your Party, followed a furious row over Ms Sultana's push to sign up members.

Mr Corbyn lashed out at an 'authorised email' sent to supporters and urged anyone who had paid up to £55 for membership to cancel their direct debits.
