A major German sports club has been forced to apologise after 'cruelly mocking' an influencer for her stammer in a viral video.
A TikTok by Borussia Dortmund, which amassed 765,000 views before it was deleted, featured influencer Jessie Yendle, 30, struggling to pronounce a sound as she stammered.
This then transitioned into a popular dance track playing over a clip of striker Serhou Guirassy. Triathlon organiser Ironman also posted a similar clip.
The viral video has been 'personally distressing' for the social media star, from south Wales, who spreads awareness of stammering to her 3.5 million TikTok followers.
A representative for Ms Yendle told the BBC: 'Jessie has been deeply shocked and hurt to discover the videos shared on social media.
