The Italian house took inspiration from the 1960s and 70s to unveil shimmering suits and classic shapes this season
For its bold autumn/winter 2025 collection, which was unveiled in Milan in February, Italian fashion label Gucci reached all the way back to the bewitching silhouettes of the 1960s and 70s for some inspiration – think backless tops, metallic fabrics and exaggerated pussy-bow accents.
This year also marks the 70th anniversary of Gucci’s Horsebit 1955 bag. The timeless emblem appears on a host of new accessories this season, from carryalls to statement jewellery. The Gucci Siena small shoulder bag in this current collection features the half Horsebit clasp, a version of the motif first introduced in the 70s.
