Mr Corbyn announced he is seeking legal advice regarding the email, which declared "our membership portal is now open", and urged supporters to ignore it and cancel any direct debits. Ms Sultana, in response, said she had been sidelined by the party she co-founded and that she has “been subjected to what can only be described as a sexist boys’ club”.She said she had sent out the membership email to “safeguard the grassroots involvement” that she believes necessary to the party’s success.Mr Corbyn earlier confirmed the party will hold a founding conference in November, with delegates chosen by lottery, amidst ongoing confusion over its placeholder name.
