A mother who allegedly let alligators eat her 12-year-old son is now said to have gotten her newborn baby high on cocaine.

Vasquez was arrested on charges of second-degree cruelty to a juvenile and negligent homicide after her autistic son Bryan, 12, was found dead in a lagoon in New Orleans East on August 26.

Prosecutors claimed in court this week that Hilda Vasquez was a danger to society and should be refused bail following the multiple instances of alleged child abuse.

They cited an investigation by the Department of Children and Family Services that found Vasquez and her newborn tested positive for cocaine at a hospital in July, according to NOLA.

DCFS also had two previous cases on the 34-year-old, including 2014 charges of cruelty to juveniles after Bryan, then an infant, sustained a fractured skull and broken legs, according to the outlet.
