Yordan Alvarez’s ankle collapsed in a way that it shouldn’t in a game Monday, worrying his Houston Astros teammates.

The outfielder was scheduled for an MRI on his left ankle Tuesday, but no observer needed fancy medical equipment to determine it was a wince-inducing moment.

“You don’t want to see that,” teammate Jeremy Peña said, per USA Today.

Alvarez was crossing home plate against the Texas Rangers when his ankle severely rolled over.

“It did not look good out on the field,” Astros manager Joe Espada said, per ESPN.
