A 15-year-old boy has been stabbed to death in a 'disturbance involving a number of people' in Manchester.
Police have launched a murder investigation after the incident on Monton Street, Moss Side, shortly after 4.30pm on Monday.
The boy was found with stab wounds and was treated at the scene and in hospital before tragically being pronounced dead, Greater Manchester Police said.
Police have put a section 60 in place until 5.20pm on Tuesday, which allows officers to stop and search people in the surrounding area.
No arrests have yet been made.
