Two drivers miraculously walked away from a high-impact crash in west London without serious injuries following a collision which saw a Mercedes land on top of a police car.

Emergency services rushed to the scene and four people, including a child, were taken to hospital after the crash, which took place at 12.05pm on Friday on Boston Manor Road, in Brentford.

But they were deemed not to have life-threatening injuries, while another person was discharged at the site of the crash.

Both the Mercedes and the police car were seriously damaged from the collision.

Footage taken in the aftermath shows both cars with smashed windows and debris scattered across the road.
