British rapper and YouTube star Yung Filly has been granted permission to fly home to the UK.

The 30-year-old, whose real name is Andrés Felipe Valencia Barrientos, has been on bail in Perth, Western Australia, since October 2024 after allegedly raping a woman in a hotel while on tour there.

His lawyers had applied to change the conditions of his bail in order for him to return to Britain, an appeal which was granted at Perth District Court today.

It means Colombia-born Barrientos, who has appeared on several BBC shows and scored for England during Soccer Aid in 2020, will be able to return to British shores before facing trial next July.

Judge Gary William Massey told the YouTuber that he would be required to return to Australia in January and surrender his passport, granting him a three-month window to visit the UK for the first time in almost a year.
