The tethered hot air balloon rides activity at Padmapuram Gardens in Araku Valley, in Alluri Sitharama Raju has started from Friday (September 12), Project Officer of Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) Paderu, Tirumani Sri Pooja said on Friday.
She also released a digital poster of the rides along with ITDA Assistant Project Officer M. Venkateswara Rao, administrative officer M. Hemalatha, Mega Eagle Fly CEO G. Santosh Kumar were present.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms Sri Pooja expressed confidence that the hot air balloon rides by the ‘Mega Eagle Fly’ organisation, will give a memorable experience to the tourists coming to the Agency.
An overwhelming response
Hot air balloon rides were introduced in Araku during the last winter season. Despite interruptions caused by a couple of low-pressure systems and the complete closure of Padmapuram Gardens in January this year for renovation work, over 600 tourists were able to enjoy the experience.
