Jimmy Kimmel said every living former president delivered a message of unity after this week’s shocking public murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk during an event in Utah.
But not President Donald Trump.
“With all these terrible things happening, you would think that our president would at least make an attempt to bring us together,” Kimmel said. “But he didn’t.”
Authorities have said they don’t yet have a suspect or motive in the killing, but the president has blamed the “rhetoric” of the “radical left.”
Kimmel gave Trump a blunt reminder of his own rhetoric.
