Cumbum South police on Wednesday arrested a youth, Jason Christopher, from Bengaluru for possessing and selling methamphetamine.Following complaints of methamphetamine being sold to college students and youth in Cumbum, police intensified vigil.According to the police, on September 7 following a tip-off, the police arrested a college student Charukesh of Cumbum for possession of two grams of methamphetamine. Following an inquiry it was revealed that Charukesh bought methamphetamine from Jason Christopher. In connection with the case, the team led by Cumbum South Sub-Inspector Devaraj arrested Jason Christopher from Bengaluru and seized 16 grams of methamphetamine worth ₹80,000 from him.
