An eight-year-old boy in Texas was left with horrifying injuries after a driver mowed him down and sped off, leaving the boy lying in the road.
Liam Park had been riding his bike while playing with his friends outside of his family's apartment building in Fort Worth when a black SUV struck him just before 8pm on Friday.
His mother, Baylea Christiansen, said she found her son screaming and 'covered in blood from his face to his arm.'
The young boy said his friend had tried to warn him of the car, but Park hadn't heard him. The driver has not been identified, and no one has been arrested, police said.
'It just kind of hit me,' Park told CBS News. 'I felt like I was going to pass out, because my eye, vision, I started to not be able to see good.'
