Israel attacked the "senior leadership" of Hamas, the IDF said in a statement.
"For years, these members of the Hamas leadership have led the terrorist organization's operations, are directly responsible for the brutal October 7th massacre, and have been orchestrating and managing the war against the State of Israel," the IDF said.
Shortly earlier, witnesses reported several blasts were heard in the Katara Village district of Doha, Qatar.
Qatari sources said a strike targeted the Hamas headquarters while the group was discussing the latest U.S. proposal on ending the Gaza war.
