A man released by police after being arrested over the death of one woman, has been re-arrested in connection with a second murder.

The Met Police are investigating the deaths of two woman aged 53 and 40 as part of a murder probe and have arrested a 40-year-old man.

On Monday, March 17, police responded to reports of an unresponsive woman in a building in Aylesbury Estate, Walworth, south east London.

Despite the best efforts of emergency workers, Carmenza Trujillo, 53, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.

A police investigation was launched following a post-mortem examination which was unable to determine a cause of death.
