An Oregon man was discovered secretly living in a crawl space beneath a condominium, complete with a bed, television, chargers, and a meth pipe.
The man, identified as 40-year-old Beniamin Bucur, is now facing felony burglary and drug charges after deputies say he took up illegal residence under the unit, converting the narrow, hidden space into a makeshift home powered by the building's electricity.
The bizarre case unfolded late Wednesday night at a condo complex on Southeast Old Town Court in unincorporated Clackamas County - 16 miles from Portland.
Around 11 p.m., a witness noticed a man who didn't appear to live at the property park in the lot and walk toward the back of one of the buildings.
Moments later, they spotted light glowing from the crawl space - before the door mysteriously shut.
