The fourth-largest ever Powerball drawing was last night, and someone in the United States could have hit it big.
The Powerball jackpot continued on its historic run ahead of the Wednesday, Sept. 3, drawing, coming in at an estimated $1.44 billion after no one won the top prize on Monday, Sept. 1.
The Sept. 3 drawing offered a one-time cash payment of $654.3 million to anyone who matched all five numbers and the Powerball.
