Donald Trump Jr. revealed on Wednesday his response to seeing false reports on social media this weekend that his father, President Donald Trump, had died.
Newsmax’s Bianca de la Garza told the extremely online Trump scion: “We’re in a situation in our country, you know, your dad isn’t seen on TV for an hour and the, you know, conspiracies about him being dead start swirling.”
Trump Jr. smiled at the comment and, after defending his father’s controversial tariff policies, returned to the topic of his dad’s rumored demise.
He said: “I called my father over the weekend and be like, ‘Hey, just want to make sure you’re not dead, I know my daughter’s playing golf with you as we speak, but, you know, I keep reading about it on Twitter, so I just want to make sure.’”
