Donald Trump Jr. is getting a quick refresher on recent history after his latest defense of his father, President Donald Trump.
During a Fox News interview, Trump Jr. offered sarcastic praise to Democrats over the weekend’s “No Kings” protests against the president, which drew more than 7 million people around the country.
“Congratulations guys, you won,” he said. “We don’t have kings.”
Trump Jr. then offered what he thought were examples of why his father isn’t a king ― including one that critics considered quite the reach.
“If he was a king, he probably would have never left the office the first time,” he insisted.
