MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell on Tuesday revealed what he described as the “sickest” part of Ghislaine Maxwell’s recent prison interview, and noted that it wasn’t shared in the transcript released last month by President Donald Trump’s Department of Justice.

“The most perverse thing that you could possibly have done in that room was to fill that room with laughter, which Ghislaine Maxwell did repeatedly,” O’Donnell said on “The Last Word,” citing publicly available audio recordings of her controversial sit-down in July.

The convicted sex trafficker and former accomplice of Jeffrey Epstein is currently angling for a presidential pardon. She sang Trump’s praises during two days of questioning by deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche and was subsequently transferred to a more comfortable prison.

“The worst thing about it is the laughter,” O’Donnell said about the interview sessions. “That’s the part that the news reports haven’t told you about. There was a lot of laughter. They all laughed. And no one laughed more than Ghislaine Maxwell.”

O’Donnell added, “In nine hours of what turned out to be casual conversation spread over a Thursday and a Friday in Florida, the single sickest reaction you could have in that discussion of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell’s sex crimes was laughter. And they all did it.”
