Chuck Todd finds it hard to believe everything’s rosy when it comes to President Donald Trump’s health.
The former moderator of “Meet the Press” said the president was “clearly hiding something about his health” while talking to fellow journalist Chris Cillizza for the Tuesday episode of their joint podcast.
There are “visible signs” the commander in chief is likely contending with major health concerns, Todd said.
“Now, they appear to be old people health issues, particularly for old people that are out of shape and don’t care of themselves,” the NBC alum continued, mentioning that Trump could be dealing with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or something “related.”
Addressing the bruises that have recently appeared on the president’s hands, Todd suggested they were “likely a side effect” of a blood-thinning medication or something similar.
