A protester who demonstrated outside of an asylum seeker hotel in Epping has been warned by a judge that he will 'likely' be jailed after admitting violent disorder.
Martin Peagram, of Loughton, pleaded guilty to violent disorder outside the Bell Hotel on July 27, at an earlier hearing at Chelmsford Magistrates Court.
On Tuesday, the 33-year-old appeared before Chelmsford Crown Court but was told by a judge 'the most likely outcome' would be 'an immediate prison sentence'.
Peagram, who wore a dark blue tracksuit and was brought up from the cells to the dock in handcuffs, spoke to confirm his name at the start of the brief hearing.
Judge Jamie Sawyer said defendants involved in protests outside the Bell Hotel, who had pleaded guilty and had outstanding cases, would be sentenced on October 6.
