Sept. 1 (UPI) -- Labor Day's Powerball jackpot has soared to the fifth-largest prize ever, with an estimated $1.1 billion up for grabs after no ticket matched all six numbers Saturday.

While nine tickets matched the five white balls to win $1 million prizes, no one matched all five winning numbers -- 22-3-33-18-27 -- and the red Powerball 17.

"We're seeing some crazy numbers now in Powerball, a billion-dollar jackpot and still no winners! Just how high is it going to roll?" Powerball USA queried Monday in a post on X.

Labor Day's Powerball jackpot of $1.1 billion is the fifth largest ever recorded in the game's history since it began in 1992. The largest on record was $2.04 billion, won in California on Nov. 7, 2022.
