The Monsoon Session of the Rajasthan Assembly began on Monday (September 1, 2025) with uproarious scenes, as the Opposition Congress MLAs raised slogans alleging “theft of votes” by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to form governments. The treasury members responded by shouting slogans against the Congress leaders.
As soon as the House assembled, the Congress members started shouting slogans of “Vote Chor, Gaddi Chhod” (vote thief, step down) and displayed placards. Even after the Speaker, Vasudev Devnani, asked them to maintain decorum, the Opposition MLAs remained defiant and tried to disrupt the proceedings.
