All eyes were on Louis Vuitton in July – not due to any particular release, but because the luxury house announced its highly anticipated 20 semi-finalists for the 2025-26 Louis Vuitton Watch Prize for Independent Creatives.
Among this year’s semi-finalists are rising names in independent watchmaking. All-American watchmaker maker JN Shapiro is in contention with the certified “made in the USA” Resurgence, while German independent brand Kudoke is also in the running with the Kudoke 5.
