Logan Carter died in the horror fall at Wharton Recreation Ground near Ledward Street in Winsford on Friday evening.
Last night, his grieving father, Rob Carter posted an emotional tribute to his son alongside a touching picture of him clasping his hand.
He wrote on Facebook: 'When I wake up on Friday my little mate I didn't think that would be the last time I get to see you and my mate my heart has been ripped in two.
'I will never forget you my mate sleep tight up the and I see you one day at them gates mate love you so much.'
