I'm A Celebrity contestant and peer Lord Brocket has appeared in court accused of drugging and raping a woman.
The 73-year-old was in the dock before Westminster magistrates today, charged with two counts of rape on August 10 and one count of sexual assault by penetration.
Sky News reported that Brocket, from Fulham in west London, confirmed his name, date of birth and address in a brief hearing.
Prosecutor Aarya Mishra said the claims relate to the same woman, who cannot be identified due to being an alleged victim of sexual offences.
Twice-married father-of-five Brocket was not asked to enter any pleas, but the court was told he denies the allegations.
