Supreme Court judge Surya Kant on Saturday underscored the need to create awareness about legal rights and entitlements among victims of human-wildlife conflicts and their families, many of whom belong to marginalised sections.
He was speaking after inaugurating the two-day regional conference on ‘Human-Wildlife Conflict and Co-existence: Legal and Policy Perspectives’ organised by the Kerala State Legal Services Authority (KeLSA) and the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA).
