A second woman has made complaints of sexual misconduct against the British chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court.
Edinburgh-born Karim Khan KC, 55, has been the subject of global headlines since last year issuing warrants for the arrest of Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former defence minister Yoav Gallant for alleged war crimes in Gaza.
But he 'stepped aside' from his role in May after it emerged that he was under investigation by a United Nations internal watchdog following complaints from a female colleague that he repeatedly pressured her for sex.
Khan 'categorically denies' any sexual misconduct – and his supporters have suggested Israel is fuelling a campaign against him to smear his and the International Criminal Court's name.
Now another woman, who worked as an unpaid intern with him in 2009, has told the Guardian newspaper she has made similar claims to the investigators.
