A Palestinian brewery in the Israeli-occupied West Bank has defied water shortages and the threat of settler attacks to launch a new lager that will be sold in 1,600 Co-op stores in the UK.
The family-owned Taybeh Brewing Co has bypassed customs restrictions and soaring costs by teaming up with Scottish firm Brewgooder to launch Sun & Stone – named after the region’s warm climate and rocky terrain.
